one of the major cause is deposition of palgue(tar-tar/gara) on your teeth. If untreated, this leads into gum infections(gingivitis) and may turns into bone infection(periodontitis).
Pregnancy can also causes pregnancy induced gingivitis

An impacted tooth is one that fails to erupt into the dental arch within the specified time.Inadequate arch length and lack of space for the tooth in which it to erupt are most common causes of teeth impaction. Dense overlying bone, excessive soft tissue ,genetic adnormality are some other causes of tooth impaction. The third molars/wisdom teeth are the most frequently impacted, as they are the last teeth to erupt in the oral cavity. In that mandibular third molars( lower jaw ) are more commonly impacted than their maxillay(upper jaw) counterparts. The removal of impacted tooth requires much effort than normal tooth extraction and also requires much care after it.

Dental implant is a titanium made post(like tooth root) which is surgically positioned into the jaw bone beneath the gum line that allows dentist to replace teeth or a bridge into that area. A dental implant is the only way by which an artificial tooth can be fixed firmly into the jaw bone. A dental implant doesn't come loose like a denture can.Any missing tooth or teeth can be replaced by implants as long as there is healthy bone. As the dental implants fuse to your jaw bone they provide stable support for artificial teeth and dentures,so that they won't slip or shift in your mouth especially when eating and speaking. This secure fit gives more natural feel than conventional bridges and dentures.

R.C.T also called as endodontic treatment for a tooth,in which the damaged pulp(pulp is cental core of tooth containing nerves&blood capillaries) is removed and the inside areas(pulp chamber&root canals) are filled, sealed with root canal filling material. Major reason for R.C.T is,decayed tooth left untreated which leads into pulpal damage and pain. Which tooth needs R.C.T:

  • Severe tooth pain by its own or while chewing.
  • Tooth which gives more pain in sleeping position rather than normal.
  • Prolonged sensitivity or pain to heat & cold.
  • Discoloration or darkening of the tooth.
  • Swelling, persistent or recurring pimple on the gums.
  • Pus discharge from the gum or face.
  • Broken or fractured tooth.

Sensitivity in teeth occur when gums pull away from your teeth at the gumline exposing the dentin layer of the teeth.Dentin is the softer layer that lies beneath the enamelsurface.Below the gum line dentin is not protected by the enamel as that covers the part of the tooth you can see in mouth. On exposed dentin ,microscopic pores(dentinal tubules) left open/unprotected which casues sensitivity to hot, cold sometimes to sweets and acidic(sour) foods.
